These pizza's are super easy and faster than waiting for one to be delivered. I love making my own pizza because it also allows me to be able to control the quality and freshness of the ingredients. You can really use anything you like on your pizza but I did this one Courtney style with cheese, olives, onions, bellpepper, and mushrooms.
I preheat my oven to 350 degrees and then saute my veggie toppings (adding the olives in at the very end just enough to heat through a little). I then set up my whole grain pita, spaghetti sauce and cheese assembly line. Now it is time to load er' up!!! First the sauce, then the cheese, then the veggies and another little sprinkle of cheese...I can't help it I LOVE cheese! ...****step number 4 is not pictured because that is where I take a bite of the left over veggies from the pan and it's not so pretty...let's all just use our imagination shall we? Step number five really just shows what these little beauties look like before they hit the sauna! The last step is to put them in the oven and watch with anticipation....or you can just set a timer if you're not as excited about pizza as I am. Depending on your oven, times may vary. It takes mine about 7 mins. Just watch until the cheese is gooey, bubbly & showing all signs of deliciousness! That's all! *Stay tuned for tomorrow's post where I will be sharing some upcoming changes to the Schutz household!
