Yesterday my hubs busted into my blogger account and wrote an amazing post as a surprise. If you scroll down or click here you can read all about it. He confessed to everyone that this year he made me wrap my own birthday present....and he really did. However, I just didn't know it. I spent the week working on wrapping a gift for "someone else" ...boy oh boy did he get me good. What saved him from being lectured on "tricking me" was the fact that now I had a fun & money-saving gift wrap solution to share with all of you before the holidays. Here is what beautiful little package I got to not only wrap, but also tear into...
*2. I then ironed it on the LOWEST setting being very careful & making sure it did not burn or start a fire.
*3. Once I got it as flat as possible I took some leftover lace and laid it on top like a stencil.
It made the most awesome paper ever!
Major props go out to the Hubs for even making me my very own glitter birthday sign. That man knows me and my love for all things shiny so well. We also went to the Petaluma boat parade to see Santa sail into town which was the perfect kick-off to the holiday season. It really was a fantastic weekend filled with lots of love. I got an ipad which made my heart go pitter patter with excitement, the only thing is that my addiction for Words with Friends is approaching crazy status. So thanks again to my sweet little family...my awesome friends, and all of you for the sweet birthday wishes.
Now on to the garland winner....I am super excited to get this little Christmas beauty mailed out to JAYNE... Congrats! I really hope you love it as much as I do. Thanks to all of you who entered. Jayne please email me your address and I will get it sent out to you tomorrow. FOR THE REST OF YOU I am offering (for this week only), ALL small yarn ball garlands for $20. Just email me and we can set an order up. They can be Christmas themed or something for all year round. I look foward to hearing from you.
Well I better stop being chatty Cathy this morning and get back to some projects. I will see you all here tomorrow!
