Where did our weekend go? The hubs and I worked really hard but those two days just disappered quickly. Unfortunately,we did not tackle the dresser from our bedroom but we did work on a nightstand for my side of the bed. Recently I uncovered this ole' gal from our storage shed outside...
Here was my inspiration.
After a long weekend of furniture re-vamping, I now need a nice long shower, a big heavy blanket, and to watch a movie in my bed. Where I can now place my "secret toast & jam" on the beside table. Woooo whooo!
Ohhhh it's the little things. I hope you all had a restful weekend. Let's kick this week in the you know what! I will see you lovelies tomorrow when I will hopefully have my creative batteries re-charged.
update *Disclaimer: The Hubs and I are in no way mirror professionals. I just happen to be a girl with an idea who had some help to make it happen. We actually had one panel break and found out it was because we did not use enough epoxy behind it, womp womp-but mistakes happen, especially with DIY. However, contact your local glass shop for all questions because they are the masters with all the answers and they can even epoxy the mirror on for you. Helpful side tip for anyone else attempting the same look: We also used little nylon washers on the back side of the knobs so the metal would not be directly against the mirror.
