Throw some confetti & blow some party horns because this weekend I did it! I actually got my lazy bones out of the house and back on running the streets...wait a minute that sounded shady..I meant literally running...on the street. AND of course I had to do it in style...
click here to read all about it). I not only have been trying to step it up when it comes to getting my exercise on, but I have also been gettin' my drink on as well. I have been going back to my early major weight loss days and having two meal replacement shakes a day which are beefed up with protein powder which contains lots of vitamins. My favorite shake recipe is seriously amazing....it tastes like I am drinking a Butterfinger and I am NOT exaggerating. It is sugar free & low cal, what more could you ask for?!
4 oz skim milk
4 oz unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon low fat peanut butter
1 tablespoon sugar free/fat free chocolate pudding mix
2 tablespoons sugar free/fat free butterscotch pudding mix
1/3 container of jello sugar free mousse (in the cold section, already made)
5 cubes of ice
*add your own protein powder. I use 100% chocolate whey protein powder.
Blend together really well. It is BLISS in a cup!
The total calories (using my protein powder) is 330 calories.
If anyone tries it let me know what you think.
I also found fabric for the bedroom drapes this weekend as well as worked on my "secret project". But don't worry it wasn't all work & no play....
