The great shopping hunt & DIY sneak peek

Did you guys see Cirque Du Soleil on the Oscars? It was amazing! I hope you all were cozy on the couch & glued to your TV last night like I was (I may or may have not have been snacking on some strawberry Pop Tarts). I thought so many of the speeches were quick and witty this year, just the way I like it.
I not only got my Oscar on this weekend, but I also worked hard on putting a plan together for my upcoming tween makeover room. I spent many hours perusing the Internet looking for inspiration & deals. This is what I discovered...stores are the biggest copy cats ever, and I looooovvvvveeee it. Seriously, I have never been so excited to price comparison shop. I am often asked how I can afford to decorate on a one income budget and this is how I get my 'shop' on. I find an inspiration piece for our home & I hunt and hunt until I find the best deal...(and even then I look for coupon codes). Here are a few examples & some great finds...
