curious about my baggage?

We are headed to Texas next week and I'm getting uber excited. A car trip with my two favorite boys and topped off with a tween room makeover...excitement overload, I almost can't contain it! So for those of you who may be curious like I often am (ya, I admit I am totally the girl who will snoop around in your house if I'm house sitting haha-so beware) this is what I want to take with me. It's my dream bag packed. Wanna peek?

I hope you have a fabulous Wednesday.

  1. Sooo many books to read right now! I've been reading "Child 44" by Tom Rob Smith. It's based on true events of a serial killer in Russia. The actual events took place in the 80s but the book is set right after WWII. It's a very interesting look into Communism.

  3. Hi Courtney! Two amazing books I just read that I seriously could not put down:
Before I Go to Sleep, by S.J. Watson
Await Your Reply, by Dan Choan

Beware of being up all night reading! Have a fantastic trip!

BTW, you had sent me a brass vase back when you were selling items from your home -- I'm long overdue in thanking you and telling you how much I love it! It makes me so happy to have a Courtney item in my home! :)

  5. Did you read The HELP yet? It was a fabulous book! The Hunger Games are also good for a road trip. I am reading The Wind UP Bird by Haruki Murakami and so far it is awesome! Lots of quirky characters and a crazy story line!
    Happy road trip!

  6. Heft by Liz Moore - it's about people who lose themselves and then find each other(but it's not a romance)

State of Wonder by Ann Patchett - seriously good book that's really beyond my summarizing skills.

  10. The swimsuit is adorable, and love the casual date outfit!
If you haven't read the Hunger Games books yet, do it! They are great and such an easy read.
One book I think you'd love is,
"Such a Pretty Face," by Cathy Lamb. I just re-read it and it was even better the 2nd time. Check it out here on Amazon

  11. I hope you have a great trip!

If you haven't read The Help by Kathryn Stockett, I highly recommend it. I also really loved 11/22/63 by Stephen King. It's NOT scary Stephen King, but it IS perfectly enthralling. It's a big book, but I'm sure you'll blow right through it on a long road trip! <3
