Boutique chic

Are you guys as excited as I am?! It's the day we have all been waiting for.....
All I want to say before unleashing a before and after picture extravaganza (and maybe the longest post ever)  is thanks to all of you for being so patient and encouraging, thanks to Emily for letting me "play" in her room, and thanks so VERY MUCH to my sponsors for making this room happen. I could not have done it without you and you changed a gals life.
Here you go lovelies...enjoy the eye candy. Let me know what you think. This was an accumulation of  four very long months worth of work. We converted a laundry room into a little girls paradise...I like to call it Boutique chic. We changed flooring to amazing FLOR tiles, patched holes, rewired lighting, installed ceiling speakers, re-worked the duct work, hung a tv, painted all of the trim and molding etc. We made sure she had furniture fit for a queen as well as a closet for her royal clothes. All in all, it was a 6 day long labor of love fiesta. I hope you love it as much as we do.

and here are just some more images of the room for those of you who get all giddy looking at it,  like I do....if you don't, just humor me haha.

I hope you guys love all of our hard work. I cannot wait to hear what you all think. I just have so say a HUGE shout out to the amazing sponsors...

You and Ryan are the perfect match when it comes to design & d.i.y. Whatever you can dream up (which is always amazing), Ryan can do! I am so proud of the way the room turned out. Emily is a very deserving young lady and now she has her very own over-the-top space and a huge smile on her face! Thanks many times over to you and Ryan for all your hard work and to the people and companies that sponsored you. The room is awesome and so are you!

Oh my heavens! I am visiting from Young House Love where your daughter's bedroom was featured. And you hit this room out of the park. Like seriously, as a 25 year old adult I would sleep in this room! I am getting so many ideas from this bedroom especially the magenta wardrobe and the chevron dress form. That gray desk is a gem with that chair! You're very creative and I can't say enough about this room.

Kylie said...

I love the texture on the bench at the end of the bed... source?

Olly's mama said...

Thanks Kylie. I actually used an $8 rug from Ross to recover a Craigslist bench. I figured that way it would be durable & tween nail polish resistant ;.)
