Food & Farm tour: Surely will make your mouth water

I missed you guys yesterday but I'm going to make it up today with some major food eye candy. Sometimes because of the blog, I get to participate in some amazing opportunities. Over this past weekend I got to do just that. The lovely Elizabeth Hill, of West Marin Food & Farm Tours invited me (along with my camera) to indulge in some local and delicious treats. When I heard that it was something I got to do kiddo free, as well as, eat my way through town, I was all in. It was such a beautiful and unseasonably warm day in Point Reyes and the food was out of this world. Elizabeth, our tour guide, was so charming and fun that I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Bay area. Whether we were on a self induced sugar high from our local Bovine bakery or picnicking at Nick's Cove... The wine, the company, and the lure of local organic and sustainable farming was the recipe for a perfect tour. The ONLY thing that could have made it better is if all of you could have been there with me. So now I will unleash a picturepalooza of my day where I got to do something I wouldn't normally do (Which was on my 30 by 30 list).

Sweets from Bovine Bakery

Lamb burger & fresh greens

Sweet potato fries

Picked right off the vine.
2005 Merlot

Hog Island

My first time to eat Oysters Ever. These were BBQ oysters.

This Oatmeal cookie was melt in your mouth scrumptious

Cheese please
A whole new meaning to breaking bread

I just want to say a huge shout out and THANK YOU to Elizabeth for inviting me on this culinary adventure. I urge all of you to now come visit me in Point Reyes & take the tour for yourselves. We could have so much fun!!!

The only problem is...now I feel like I need a snack...
