The other day I came across some amazing peppermint lip scrub for $25. I couldn't stand the idea of spending that much on lip scrub and knew there had to be a homemade version. My daring, red wearing lips and I were determined to make some. It was super inexpensive (
using mostly household ingredients) took no time at all & was very simple because nothing has to be exact. I have used it twice now and my smackers are in love. I thought it might be a fun Christmas present DIY to share with all of you.

I really
was not exact with my measurements. I truly did eyeball everything and it turned out great! I filled a small jar, added some twine and thought it would be the perfect little gift for a special lady this Christmas.
Have any of you made your own beauty products at home? I think I am addicted because it seriously cost me pennies....there are some amazing sources and recipes on Pinterest!
I'll see you lovelies tomorrow!

beautiful idea!! And it's packaged so lovely. I'll definitely be trying this for some little christmas gifts this year.
Love this for an inexpensive gift. Plus no products that you have to order online! Posting the top photo and a link back to your blog on my holiday blog.
Could you maybe zest in lemon or orange instead of using the mint?
