As promised, I am back with the details on the little twinkle star garland I made this week, because you guys are awesome and deserve some stars! It was a very inexpensive project which you know gives my heart a little extra pitter patter...
$3.00 in clay total
$2.75 glitter balls from Michaels (with coupon)
$2.99 for a pack of cookie cutter stars
Free-needle & thread for the garland
Free- paint I used on the stars
Free- toothpick to make holes in the stars
*each small block of clay made approximately 12-14 stars. It depends on how large and how thick you want your stars. I made mine a little thick so they would remain sturdy once I made holes in the sides for stringing.
Each star is slightly less than perfect which I think makes it feel a bit more homemade. I really do love these little guys and gals and think they might make their way into Olly' room after Christmas. They could be really cute for a New Years photo backdrop as well....hmmmm, now the wheels are turning. And don't you just love how I caught myself in the ornament in the picture above while taking the picture? Next time I'm dressing up, haha just kidding! I hope you all have an awesome Wednesday and I will see you tomorrow with details on the little man's tree this year!
