Stitched art {mother's day DIY}

Hellooooooo lovelies! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and feel ready to kick off a new week. I spent the last few days dipping my toes in the project pond and trying to get caught up from such a busy month last month. Even though I already had enough to juggle, I was itching to do a little DIY. So I thought with 'Love your Mama Day' coming up I would make something simple, personal, and lovely.

I thought homemade stitched art would be a great way to say, "I appreciate you" to the ones who gave us life or the ones who raised us. It hardly took me any time (because I chose a simple heart design) & it cost me only $6 for a frame since I already had the other supplies laying around. I thought it was quite darling and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you.

I know it looks pretty basic but I thought it was sweet in it's simplicity. I loved being able to work this project into my busy Sunday and take a few minutes to allow myself some creative fun. I hope this sparks a good Mother's Day idea for the rest of you. Have a great start to your week...kick Monday's butt y'all!
