We also spent the day on Tuesday visiting our old family farm that we sold over 15 years ago. The current owners live in Holland and come to visit the farm a few times a year. They told us we were more than welcome to visit the property whenever we are in town. So I decided to capture Oliver playing in the very tree I grew up climbing in and posing by. It was such a surreal moment for me to be photographing my own child in the very place I grew up and have so many amazing memories. We went to the farm nearly every weekend as soon as we would get out of school and would hesitantly leave on Sunday nights dressed in our PJ's, counting the stars until we fell asleep, sad to say goodbye. We also spent every special celebration and holiday there. It's one of those places that is absolutely interwoven into the very fibers of who I am. I Thank God for such places.
Now who's ready for some adorable pictures and some funny ones of me? I am.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend with your loved ones, creating your own memories. I can't wait to spend the week with you all next week. Until then.
