For a week I was a Bahama Mama

We've been back from the Bahamas for a month and I am just now getting to a point in the picture editing process to be able to share some highlights with you (considering I shot over 1400 photos-yikes). I had never been on a cruise before but was so thankful to be able to go and experience some of the things my husband got to experience when he would go underway (he's in the Coast Guard). For years I heard about indescribable sunsets, friendly dolphins, exotic fish...it was amazing to be able to put myself in the middle of all of it (most of the time with a yummy drink in hand). Being able to hear the ocean...to really hear it, is something that I will never be able to forget. Spending a week with my little family, unplugging from the rest of the world, leaving the idea of makeup and dress codes behind. It was simply a fantastic treat. Here were some of my favorite moments of the trip. I just wish you all could have been there.

Aren't some of the colors breath taking? I felt as if I could find inspiration in everything. I was so in love & my camera never parted my side. I hope you all have an awesome day and if you ever go on a cruise or just travel to the Bahamas... just please, please take me with you.
