What a fun weekend I had. Not only did I get to photograph a precious little family and finish up some fun projects around the house...but we got to take our own little lighting bolt to the movies on Friday to see Turbo. I've forgotten what going to an adult movie feels like...however, this one had Snoop dog in it so how could we go wrong? I must say, I will never look at a snail the same. Later on that night the hubs and I carved out some adult movie time to watch The Vow at home. We may have been the last ones on earth to see this movie but I must say it was amazing and just what my heart needed in order to take a break for a few hours.
The rest of the weekend was a bit chilly, so I thought it might be fun to get our craft on so we could play inside while the sun was hiding. So I used what we had on hand...a little extra spray paint and fabric. As well as, a soon-to-be recycled box which I turned into a lemonade stand for Olly's knit Blabla dolls.
It only took me an hour and a half to make and it was well worth the fun playtime. I'm always so surprised at how the simplest made "toys" make the kiddos so very happy and feeling special.
So tell me what did you guys do this weekend? Any hiking adventures or fun girly shopping trips?
I'll see you lovelies tomorrow.
