One of my favorite things to do when I visit Texas in the fall is to go to the Texas Renaissance festival. It is a very magical place for me & has found a permanent spot in my heart. I'm thoroughly obsessed with the creative magnitude of the costumes. For the past few years one of my favorites is a beautiful fox. I am so in love with the colors and details that I have been obsessing on finding a way to create some sort of fox art project for the little man's room.
So this weekend I used an inexpensive craft store mask (along with assistance from the hubs) to create our own paper mache fox.
It will soon be a part of a special art wall for Oliver's room. One that I cannot wait to show you guys involving wallpaper & a few other DIY decor projects. Here is a peak at our foxy creation.
I love that it looks vintage and didn't hardly cost anything to make. I still need to add ribbon to it as a finishing touch and also decide if I want to mount in on a canvas, a shadow box or hang it as is.
As soon as I finish getting my images edited I will give you a DIY rundown this week so you can make your very own sly foxy friend.
I would love to know what you guys think of it. If you guys totally hate it I will just rock it for Halloween...just kidding. But seriously, whatcha' think? I hope your weekend was amazing and you master Monday like a boss!
