Look at those sexy legs: So Stunning in gold

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed taking a bit of time off. However, I got back to the grind yesterday and upgraded my upholstered chair legs from dull to wowzars! Here is a little before & after.

It was a super easy & quick change that I wish I had thought to make a long time ago. I just used a little leftover rub-n-buff that I originally purchased for my lamp project and rubbed it on to the parts of the legs & wheels that I wanted to look like brass. After letting it dry for a few hours I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved the polished look.

It made this $250 find from Marshall's look a bit more high-end and it also made me a rub-n-buff fan for life.

I guess you could say that small changes rock my world. What projects did you guys tackle over the long weekend? Anyone else lovin' a little make believe brass action?

  1. We decided to tackle organizing our storage space in our house! Something I thought would take two hours turned into a five hour project, womp-womp. But it look so much better now!

  2. I'm hopping on the rub n' buff train - woo-woo! this.looks.awesome.

  3. Way to go Sarah F!

Thanks so much for the chair love. Rub-n-buff is amazing! xoxo
