Happy Monday & happy Veteran's Day. I want to send a huge shout out to all the men and women who work so hard and remain so dedicated to serving in our military. I also want to send a huge congratulations to Tania for winning the beautiful bronze pendant from Toby & Max.
This week there is some much needed rain in the forecast for Point Reyes, which means it's the start of some cold and dark fall days & evenings. It is going to be the the perfect week for comfy sweaters & leggings, mugs of hot chocolate, baked apples in our bellies, and early night book reading. So this morning I wrapped myself up in my 'mama don't wear that to school to drop me off ' robe and put on my favorite pair of fur boots. I must say I rocked the heck out of that Randy Quad from National Lampoon's Christmas vacation look (sorry for the visual). Armed with a pair of gardening shears I started gathering some beautiful floral buds in order to bring a bit of life into the house for an otherwise potentially dreary week.
I reused some baby food jars and spray painted them gold and wired them together so that they could easily sit on the ledge of my window.
I made small individual bundles to put in each jar and then filled in the rest with little sprigs of rosemary which makes it smell quite divine in the house.
Not to shabby for a no cost approach (which you all know I love so much). I hope these bright little beauties bring joy to your week. I am really excited to start working on some more decorating projects for the Olly's big boy room and I cannot wait to share the progress with all of you.
Have a fantastic day lovelies & congrats again Tania!
